Which is the Best time to visit Kerala ?
You can visit Kerala at any time of the year, but it is advisable to visit this place during September- April because of the moderate climate of these months. As Kerala is famous for its Ayurvedic Treatment, a lot of special treatments are done in monsoon season. Most of the temple festivals, Church festivals and Thrissur Pooram take place in the months of March-May. If you are an avid fan of these festivals you can plan your trip in these months.

What are the best places for accommodation ?

When is the Thrissur Pooram?
The Thrissur Pooram is held during the Malayalam month of Medam (mid-April to mid-May). As the date keeps varying every year, a fixed date cannot be said. If you are planning your trip specially to see the Thrissur Pooram, then ask your tour operator to find out the exact date of the Pooram. The 36 hour temple festival is something you have to see to believe. You wouldn’t want to miss out on it due to confusion about its date!
