Mahatma Gandhi Excellence Award - Tourism and Travel Management for Osaka Air Travels
In the recently concluded gathering held at KTDC Mascot hotel to commemorate the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Osaka Air Travels Pvt. Ltd received the Mahatma Gandhi Excellence award for its outstanding contribution in the field of Tourism and Travel management. The award was bestowed upon Osaka Group’s Founder and Chairman P.B Boss for his magnetic leadership as a tour and travel operator with excellence, highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, civic and social responsibility.
The Mahatma Gandhi Peace foundation seeks to create an environment for study and research on the teachings and practice of Gandhi in the first instance and of allied thought and action, with a view to affecting the thoughts and actions of millions throughout the world and thereby helping them to attain or maintain peaceful, harmonious, and happy social relations without hatred or violence of any kind.
The award was presented by Hon'ble Minister J. Mercykutty Amma, Minister for Fisheries, Government of Kerala and Shri. Oommen Chandy, previous Chief Minister of Kerala. The gathering was also attended by Shri. M. Vijayakumar – KTDC chairman, Padma Shri Gopinathan Nair, Shri. C. Divakaran MLA and Shri. Varkala B Ravikumar – KEL Chairman.
The award was distributed in four categories. The other three awards were distributed to Sri. Mohammed Madani K of ABC Group, Sri Rajashekharan Nair of R.R Holidays Pvt. Ltd, and Shirley Rejimon of Milan Designs.
